BROKER LAUNCHES NEW REAL ESTATE COMPANY AMID DOWN MARKET
Against the Odds of the Current Real Estate Market, Long Time Valley Broker Sees
Opportunity in the Changing Market and Starts New Venture that Caters to the
Real Estate Agent.
May 1st,2009, Scottsdale,
Arizona, Larry Dignan ,G.R.I. Designated Broker and owner of For Sale in Arizona, sees
opportunity in the current real estate downturn and starts a new brokerage that
caters to agents seeking a better business model that better suits today’s high
tech agents. The local real estate market has caught the eyes of the nation as
we enter an era that is unprecedented in our nation’s history, yet some see
opportunity as the real estate brokerage models are evolving in result of the
current market conditions.
Larry Dignan states, “Real estate
brokerage models have been evolving since the advent of the internet and the
bricks and mortar is weighing down these companies like an anchor.” “Today’s
real estate professional works on the go, utilizing the latest technology
available to them.” “Passing on the cost of a storefront to the agents is
taking money out of their pockets and they realize this.” Dignan, a sixteen year veteran has worked for
large corporate franchise companies and states that the money spent on building
leases and phone equipment alone is astronomical. He states that he has seen
many companies in the metro area scale back 30% and more on their offices and
cut company staffs in half as a result of the change in the current real estate
market.
Not only are real estate companies making
changes to their business models and going virtual, many retailers are changing
their structures as well, which is clearly evident in the vacant
storefronts seen while driving through
town. For years, real estate companies have been trying to create a “better
mousetrap” but, at the end of the day they fail to address their sole resource,
the agent. Dignan’s company structure For Sale in Arizona is one that leverages
the technology available to the real estate agent today and the savings are
directed back to the agent which in turn helps the individual build their own
business, rather than feed the company’s bottom line. Dignan states , “There is
no longer need for file cabinets as all forms and transaction documents are
stored online.” Dignan also states, “Traditionally an office has been a place for agents to send a
fax, send documents or pick up forms, now they have this ability on their
Blackberry’s and other handheld devices.” The real estate industry has always
attracted the entrepreneurial type. For
Sale In Arizona is a perfect example as it offers the agents the structure,
support and professionalism needed to conduct their business. This model does
not weigh an agent down with unnecessary fees for services they do not utilize
or see value in.
